研究に対する想い

来るべき高齢化社会を見据えた当社の成長エンジンは、医薬、医療のライフイノベーションです。私は、独自性の高い医薬を継続的に創出することで、当社医薬の更なる伸長とグローバル展開に尽力していきたいと思います。また、医薬、医療の分野横断的なライフイノベーションにより、ライフサイエンスの分野における当社のプレゼンス向上にも貢献したいと思います。そして何より、明日の東レを創るのは「研究」との気概をもち、「深は新なり」の基本原理のもとで、将来を見据えた革新的研究に専心します。
