Toray has completed the development of the "Brine Conversion
2-stages Seawater Desalination System", called "BCS".
A pilot plant is operating successfully at Toray's Ehime plant site
since 1997. The first commercial plant of 1500 cbm/day (400,000 gpd)
is operating successfully since March 1999 in Gran Canaria / Spain.
These experiences led to commercial installations at Tortola / British
Virgin Islands, Curacao / Netherlands Antilles and another expansion
at Gran Canaria / Spain. |
